Careers

Somewhere in New Zealand right now, a plumber is under a sink while their phone rings out, and the caller is already dialling a competitor. We build the thing that answers that call. If work like that appeals to you, read on.

The Work

We design and run AI voice agents that pick up the phone for New Zealand businesses. That means getting the hard parts right: an agent that sounds natural, understands a flustered caller, books the job correctly, and knows when to hand off to a human. The bar is a real customer on the other end who cannot tell the difference, or does not care because their problem got solved.

Who Tends to Do Well Here

People who care about the outcome more than the job title. You will fit if you like untangling messy real world problems, you can explain a technical idea to a busy tradie without jargon, and you would rather ship something useful this week than perfect it next quarter. Curiosity and follow through count for more than a polished CV.

How We Operate

Small team, remote by default, judged on what we deliver rather than hours logged. We keep meetings rare, communication plain, and expectations honest. Nobody here is managing for the sake of it, and there is no bureaucracy to wade through to get a good idea into production.

What We Hire For

Roles come and go, but we are usually keen to talk to people strong in one or more of these areas:

  • Conversation design and voice AI: making an agent handle a real call gracefully
  • Integrations and telephony: wiring calls, calendars and CRMs together reliably
  • Delivery and client work: onboarding a business and getting its agent live
  • Operations and support: keeping live agents accurate as businesses change

You do not need every box ticked, and you do not need to have come up through a traditional tech path. Clear thinking travels further than credentials.

Why It Is Worth Doing

Voice AI is moving quickly, and the problems are unsolved enough to be interesting. You will work across a wide range of New Zealand industries, hear the direct impact of what you build, and grow your skills against real customer calls rather than toy examples.

Getting in Touch

No formal application process. Send us a short note about who you are, what you are good at, and what caught your interest, along with anything you have built that you are proud of. A CV is welcome but not required.
